This was the best book I have read in months, I adore all of Brynne Weaver's books and this one was no exception. There were some crazy trigger warnings so beware. This book had me laughing loudly, crying, and immersed in all the murdery mayhem that occurred in this book. The narrative exuded a palpable intensity, skillfully crafting moments of scorching passion that were masterfully written. The electric chemistry shared between the central protagonists defied conventional bounds, radiating an undeniable tension that set the pages ablaze. My favourite part of this book was the annual murder competition, a spectacle that cast a spotlight on the story's brilliance and left an indelible imprint on my mind. So please give 'Butcher & Blackbird' a go.
