I'm so glad I finally got around to reading 'It Happened One Summer' by Tessa Bailey. This book was a breath of fresh air, filled with witty dialogue, endearing characters, and a romance that left me smiling long after I finished reading. The grumpy/sunshine dynamic between the peppy socialite and the grumpy fisherman was absolutely adorable, and their chemistry was palpable from the very start. I found myself laughing out loud at their banter, swooning over their romantic moments, and even getting teary-eyed during some of the more emotional scenes. Tessa Bailey has a true talent for crafting engaging, entertaining stories that leave readers feeling happy and satisfied. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, light-hearted summer read with plenty of spice.

Claire Kingsley's series set in the small town of Tilikum is a treasure trove of warm, fuzzy feelings, deeply emotional moments and laugh-out-loud humour. Amongst the wholesome family dynamics, thieving squirrels, and hilarious prank wars, one book stands out as particularly memorable - "Rushing In". The story of Gavin and Skylar's friendship-turned-romance captured my heart from the very beginning. Their playful banter, sizzling chemistry, and forbidden love made for a compulsively readable tale that kept me up all night. With its perfect blend of humour, heat, and heart, "Rushing In" is a must-read for fans of small-town romances.

I have a weakness for single dad x nanny romances, and 'Heartless' by Elsie Silver hits all the right notes. Cade Eaton, the ruggedly handsome and grumpy scowling cowboy, won me over with his dedication to his adorable son and his moodiness towards everyone else. Willa, on the other hand, was a breath of fresh air with her unapologetic confidence and free spirit. The contrast between their personalities created a delicious tension that culminated in some seriously hot moments. What really sold me on this book, though, was the way Silver expertly wove together themes of family, loyalty, and true love. It's a truly exceptional read that will stay with you long after you finish it.

I must admit, I wasn't sure about "Xeni" at first since marriage of convenience stories aren't usually my cup of tea. However, Rebekah Weatherspoon's exceptional storytelling skills quickly won me over. The protagonist, a rugged and kind-hearted man, reminded me of a big teddy bear, and Xeni stole my heart with her strength, sass, and vulnerability. Their convenient union may have started as a practical arrangement, but it soon blossomed into something more profound, thanks to the undeniable chemistry between them. What truly impressed me, though, was how Weatherspoon crafted characters that felt genuine and relatable, each with their own unique personalities and struggles. Watching them grow and evolve as they fell in love made for a captivating read. "Xeni" not only exceeded my expectations but also served as a gateway to Weatherspoon's other outstanding works.

"The Wild One" by Daisy Jane is a captivating and refreshing romance that explores a unique reverse age gap and single mother narrative. The protagonist, Beau, is a charming and endearing hero who embarks on a journey of self-discovery and growth as he navigates his feelings for a woman who is both fiercely independent and vulnerable. The female lead's strength and resilience are admirable as she recovers from a difficult divorce and learns to trust again. Their love story is tender, passionate, and deeply moving, making for a truly unforgettable read. It is also very very sexy so be warned!
