Make Your Choice: Fate or Fangs? Exclusive Excerpt from Resurection by Kristen Battestella

Welcome to an other week of love, romance, reading, writing, and passion. April was a crazy month, but it was fun and somehow I knew it would be. Tomorrow begins anew with May and hopefully that means warmer weather. But today we're kicking off the week right with what we do best; connecting readers to amazing books and authors.

Today's post is by Kristen Battestella, the author of Fate & Fangs, a seven-book paranormal romance series, and an author who LOVES being a guest Ravencraft's. Not unlike her vampire characters, Ms. Battestella keeps coming back for more and we're all too please to have her back.

So without further interruption, I leave the spotlight to Kristen:

Feel Love, experience Punishment, know Struggle, indulge the Debauchery, crave Lust, learn Humanity, face Resurrection, and choose: Fate or Fangs?

Of course, we know what the gals here at Ravencraft's prefer, a little bit of sugar, spice, and everything that isn't always nice!  And that indeed is Fate and Fangs: Tales from the Vampire Family, my recently completed 7 book series with Muse It Up Publishing.  Our vampires like it hard!

So if you were the newly divorced scientist and ex-creature of the night like Stephanie- star of our final tale Resurrection- you might find the real world a little bit, well, dull, too.  Imagine having to walk away from all the excess and juiciness that comes with being a Lilithan vampire battling our titular Welshire family- my, my, that would suck!  What's a girl have to do to get a little ancient man vamp action these days?

Fortunately, the ageless and pretty but no less ambiguous vampire power player Mestiphles is more than willing to add some charm and seduction to his demonic offer, and extends his allure to Stephanie in perfect form....

Tempting, no?

Excerpt: (Exclusive to Ravencraft's Realm, because I like it here ;0) )

He stood beside me tall, blonde, somehow clearly visible and bright in the rain. The water seemed to touch him, but he appeared merely damp, his dark clothes somehow unsaturated. He had put a clean coat around me, and I felt suddenly warm and dry beneath it. I wanted to look down to see if my lower half was clean and risen above the mud, but couldn’t tear my eyes away from this would-be savior. I knew who he must be, though I had only met him once. He smiled as if he knew my train of thought before I did. He stood there, unscathed, waiting for me to call his name.
“Mestiphles?”
“Yes, Stephanie. I’ve come to take you home.”
He spoke with such charm that one would easily be lured, but I knew what his magical presence was capable of. This was the man who took Lilith into the bowels of the earth, restored the dead and fallen Welshires, and for better or worse, gave us back our humanity. Clearly, he
was not of this earth.

So again I ask, which would  you choose?

Hi Kristen, it's great to see you again! Please, pull up a chair and make yourself at home. I have hot water if you would like coffee or tea?

Last we spoke, "Resurrection" had just released. How are things going since then? Any grand adventures or exciting milestones? Are you working on anything new right now?

Hey Kristin, welcome back to the Realm. We love having you!! Exciting, your last in the series released.

So, you ask the question...hmmm, cute hunky guy and hell, or NOT.
LOL...this is where that old butter commercial comes to mind - it's not nice to fool mother nature. LOL

I want the guy but not the hell that goes along with him, all right. giggles.

Wait...no, I won't say it.

I brought some asparagus scones to go with Danielle's beverages (I love asparagus...and it's so good for you). Also some fresh fruit to go with it...melons, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple...oh, and kiwi. I'm on a health food kick right now.

Hi Danielle *waves*

You had me until Asparagus!! ;0)

Thanks for having us again ladies!

I'm still doing lots of interviews, virtual, and real world appearances. Just because the releases are over doesn't mean my work stops!

I'm still writing more vamps and helping Leigh Wood beta on some medieval work.

I went to the grocery store today and got milk, so now I can have the White Chocolate Tea. Soo goooood!

Should I share? The tea, the man, or the hell? Nah!
